2018

Creation of the company
The Circus Lab, creative and improvisation workshops with live music for circus performers and enthousiasts lead by Aline Chapet-Batlle and Eric Roeting

2019

Tetra Immersive, a collaborative performance between Aline Chapet-Batlle and Eric Roeting mixing circus and live music in unique locations around WA

2020

On The Inside, a collaborative performance between Aline Chapet-Batlle and Eric Roeting questioning our place in society
EXHIBIT, Perth’s only open stage for contemporary circus performers begins. Shows are performed regularly at CirQuest in North Perth since then.

2021

The Perth Circus Festival is born! Showcasing 5 works from local circus companies, the festival takes over the State Theatre Centre of WA for a week-end of contemporary circus
VIVID, a collaboration with Back Door Productions, this immersive dinner-show features dancers, singers, circus and drag artists.
Human, A Line In The Air‘s solo show on aerial hoop goes into creation, with the music composed by Eric Roeting.

2022

Human is performed at the WA Circus Festival
Exhibit-Unhinged performed at The Imaginarium Belmont, and ready to perform in WA.
The Circus Lab goes on tour to the Margaret River Circus School
Extravaganza, a new cabaret showcasing circus, magic and drag performing at The Royale Theatre in Northbridge.

2023

Creation of Parisian Nights, co-directed by Eric Roeting and Aline Chapet-Batlle and performed at The Royale Theatre in Northbridge featuring circus, music and burlesque artists. The project is supported by Bonjour Perth
Extravaganza on tour at the Joondalup Festival and The Imaginarium Belmont
The Circus Lab goes on tour to the Midwest Aerial and Acrobatic Studios in Geraldton

Australia is a breeding ground of talented performers with unique ideas and personalities. CAJ Entertainment wants to support this talent and share it with you.

We are dedicated to creating events and productions showcasing the best of the Australian circus industry and to inspire audiences at an affordable price.

Since its creation in 2018, by Aline Chapet-Batlle, the company has successfully produced shows, events and workshops that are there to entertain, interrogate and challenge the status quo.

Our Values

CAJ Entertainment strives to be a safe and inclusive space, a harassment-free workspace and aims to provide equal opportunity to cast members and associates of the company.

CAJ Entertainment acknowledges that we are predominantly working on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk People. To give back to the community whose land was stolen, 1% of total profit of CAJ Entertainment’s productions is given to Pay The Rent, a grassroot collective who gives back to grassroots causes and campaigns with a focus on protecting First Nations rights.
